then it means

a > 0 and b > 0 [ 2 x 3 > 0 where 2 > 0 and 3 > 0]

Or a < 0 and b < 0 [ - 2 x - 3 > 0 where - 2 < 0 and - 3 < 0]

**(2) a . b < 0**

then it means

a < 0 and b > 0 [ - 2 x 3 > 0 where -2 < 0 and 3 > 0]

4x^{3} - 24x^{2} + 44x - 24 > 0

4(x^{3} - 6x^{2} + 11x - 6) > 0

if both condition is fulfilled then,

f(x) is strictly increasing

if f '(x) > 0

f(x) is strictly decreasing

if f ' (x) < 0
